E-Commerce Websites From Shopster.com?
I no longer recommend
Shopster as a free website location. I misunderstood their
somewhat advertising and was not aware that you could not sell
items from your Shopster website unless you upgraded and paid
money.
I used to promote Shopster from several websites and sent them
nearly 750 signups. I was told they could no longer pay me for
referrals because my referrals were signing up for a free
website, then not upgrading.
I was asked what I could do on my end to increase conversions -
I may be wrong, but I thought conversions were handled at
Shopster. I send them traffic, and what happens after that is
out of my hands. "Other affiliate's referrals conversions
are 13 to 19% blah blah blah..."
If a company runs misleading promotions, they can expect people
to assume it is free when it says "Free To Join" AND
NOT "Free Trial".
So my apologies for any inconvenience I may have caused,
and I return to my business model of FREE. I have pulled
all promotions to Shopster.
If you are looking for a free e-commerce website, I still
recommend V-Store. And yes, it is
FREE. I hate
when that happens...
